We were 2 hours earlier to the shopping mall official opening time. So we went loitering around, walking on the pathway by the roadside. Within one min, i can see several tuktuk stopping by to ask us to hop on and more. We walked around the place since we were so EARLY, like to the MTR train station etc.
Before shopping mall opens, you can see hundred of people waiting outside, getting ready to walk in.
There's a sensor check at the entrance, similar to the custom kind. So security wise, i think was quite good. We roam around the place, found the shop 'Seven sis', which i read in forum. A shop which design T-shirts for people. To bad, we didn't get one in the end. We stayed in the mall for a short one hour.
Took a tuktuk back to hotel to check out and changed to 'Superior' room, if not keep staying in executive room will make us broke. This tuktuk uncle, appear from nowhere just to snatch business from the other tuktuk man who approached us first. They nearly fight.. Woash!..Saw the sign quite interesting, then decided to take it.
Took a short rest, and headed to Chatukchak weekend market.
My advice is don't take hotel meter taxi, which was much ex, but at least we know now. While at there, we kept remind each other to take care of pouch. Definitely it was a busy street, just another bigger Bugis Village. " At this moment, the plane is landing, reaching SG! Did not buy too many things, but is an experience to gain. "
(written at work)Settled down in the new room and get ready to leave for Suan Lum night market. We went to hotel reception to seek for help. Like Khao san or Suan Lum night market is better and roughly how much it cost to flag a cab. Finally, decided on Suan Lum market. Since we were new to the place,Im afraid that we can't get a cab when we wanted to leave later. So asked Eva to ask the driver to come fetch us, which he agreed and failed to turn up in the end. Went to the seafood restaurant nearby, was a nice place, with nicely decorated lightings.
We moved on to shop at Suan lum market, as promised to the taxi driver, we only left 1 hour to roam around after we had our meals , so that we can meet him punctually later. The market was about 5 mins walk away from the restaurant, it seemed almost like chatuchak, just more orderly and less crowded one.
The shops are spread across to several roads. Left at 11pm(bangkok time).Back to hotel. Something unhappy just happened at this time. Eva and me had to leave the room to have a talk near the swimming pool. In the middle of the night, the mosquitos were active to bite us! Then realising we can't stay on, we stood up and switched place to the hotel lobby.
Called it a night later.
