21st celebration at downtown east and personal updates

Remembered that time i was very disappointed that chalet wasn't able to book. But now this dream has finally fulfilled. A miracle has come true.Every since primary school, my bday always clashed with examinations. But i think the God was good to me, that this year fell on a Saturday, and most of my friends were able to attend.I took a day off on Friday, so that i can have enough rest and won't feel so tired on Saturday. (Although still tired). Went DBS to submit some stuff, then went to bugis to pray before Xiao Fan and me took a cab to downtown east to meet kah ying.

The place indeed changed alot, it has a newly built 'ehub', though may be there for long, but u guys need to unstd la, was my first time seeing it, so i assume is NEWLY built. haha..Very excited upon checking in, the person ask for the ntuc member card person to be around, OH SHIT!(cos i used my fren's mum card). But she continues..."i will gv you an exception this time."Passing the keys to us, she said "Happy birthday" Wah..cool.

The blk i was being assigned to was pretty deserted, have to walk further in. Is near fitness corner. haha..when i opened the door, i shouted "huat ah!"Put down the things and went on to unpack some stuff. Xf was holding her bag, and she don't allow me to keep near to her. Thats weird. She said my present was in there. Heh.Changed to shirts and shorts, we went out again. Before that xf kept mention to me that she wanted to watch a movie that night. And is a DIE DIE must watch kind.

I thought was not something unusual, cos at times she has this kind of DIE DIE must do things. haha.

Ok, im fine with it as i didnt watch movie for long. She chose "The journey to the center of the earth" show, later then know she purposely chose one that the duration is one of the longest and the thing is, she actually watched before. OH! Thankew leh xf! Something i felt abit weird but didnt go on guessing, xf asked me if she could keep the room key for me. Since still have some time before the show, we went to Pasta to have our dinner. Halfway through, xf said she needs to go out and make a call, cos one of the IBM colleague called. This is as usual, i didnt suspect anything as well. That was this moment she passed the key to my friends to decorate the room.

I must emphasis that the show(The journey to the center of the earth) was terrific! It scared me at a few scenes and made me laughed out loud too as well. It has been a long long time that i felt this way. Sitting down, feeling relaxed. When we came out of cinema theatre was slightly pass 11. We went to the arcade, cos i felt like playing games. But later on i know that xf also tried to delay time at there, so that i can reached the room on the dot, 12am. While on the way back , xf is on the phone again, well, u gals know, she's always on the phone. So i didnt suspect anything. Just when we were at the door step, we found the door was unlocked. I asked xf " i tot u were holding the key?" She replied "yes, go in n take a look" (she looked serious that time) I went in with lights still off, so qin scared me from nowhere by shouting. I scared till roll down on the floor. Woash!

Till then lights were on and i saw the balloons and soek holding a small cake with candle lighting. At that moment, i was touched. Seriously touched. You can say is my stupidity that i didnt know right from the start, but seriously i rather i stupid and getting surprises.

That night, we drank alot, the red wine that i bought + soek alcoholic drinks. We played games and laughing out loud.( only those who stayed that night will know :X)

At 4am, we called it a night.( Can see how tired i am)

I was the first to wake up the next morning.I didnt have a good sleep cos the air-con was too cold. We are preparing to go escape at 10am! But before that, let's have breakfast at BURGER KING.The place which kathy(soek) claim that she has the coupons. -_-.

I'm enthusiatic about it, cos i nv been there, and i wish to have some fun. Before rain started pouring, we managed to play go-kart. I imagined that i will be driving in a steady way, it turned out that i kept stepping on the brakes. I scared of death man...cos going down the slope, i was afraid i just bang at the side walls, think too much. Soon after, rain started pouring and we have to stop our games every now and then. ( A few pics taken is with xf, will post it once i received)

When rain doesn't stop, all we can do is just sit down and wait...wait.

I called the cake shop( Prima Deli ), LOT 1 branch, to confirm the delivery address. I mean theres no changes to the address, perhaps just to add on the blk and room no. Cos before that i haven't receive the chalet confirmation yet. Even im in the wrong not to confirm wif them earlier, they shld have tell me nicely. What the %^&*$! The delivery man called me and said he would put in the ehub branch and asked me to collect it. He went there before me, so he kept call and rushed me in a v bad tone. And put down the phone before me. What the...BAD SERVICE! The time was just 3 plus in that afternoon, so i requested if i can put the cake there and come back to collect later.

Preparation of food must all thanks to TG and TP(TG partners) for helping out. And never forget huiqin for helping me take pics whenever i asked her to. This yr celebration was indeed a memorable one. Serving around, trying my best hoping that no one feel neglected. Somehow u got to disappoint a few, but this is normal being a host.

While my friends are busy preparing, im still taking pictures :P

I also went all the way out to collect my cake. Is quite pathetic though, when i have to collect the cake by myself. Knowing the ones i invited r afterall my guests, decided to do it by myself. Luckily, i met my fren on the way there, and she helped me to call qin out to come out and helped me.

Apart from all that, when the bday song was sang at that very moment, i felt v emotional, touching!

It was such a rare scene that i could have this kind of combination of frens celebrating for me. And they could work well tgt to make this possible. Once again big thankew for those who came, for those who gv me wishes, for those gifts, hope u all enjoyed those moments as well.

Second night with TG was fun as well, like what qin mentioned in her blog, it has been ages since TG stayed tgt over at chalet. Something that never changes that we have lots of countless topics to talk about. Which is good!

I left the chalet wif lots of unwillingless. Cos i know after i left the place, is back to reality again. But fact being fact....let me face the realistic world again. Still, i enjoyed myself alot and this day will never be forgotten.

Thoughts : I never feel so happy for a long long time, thankew! Especially those who wanted or helped out in this whole celebration!

Last of all, personal updates : I went to apply for PDL today! Finally, and my first practical lesson will be on sept 6. Working in this current company till 11 sept, from the day i handed in my resignation letter, there wasn't much work given already. Well, this is a fact of life. If you were to ask me am i excited for the next job, i would say is just another job that i got to tackle. Life is like that, either you got to work or study. So trying to use another angle to look at it positively and work harder for the next job to come.

Yesterday, i had a terrible stomachache, is mixture of giddy, stomachache and a feeling of wanting to vomit. There is a long story in between it, i almost felt breathless at a moment, at that second, i really thought i will die. It was that scary. I wouldn't want to think much, i hope i still have many more years to go.
